  • Ok I am making a tribute to a friend from high school even though we were two different years, I was class of 2001 he was class of 2004. Well i May not have known Anthony Marciniec, but he will have a place in everyone whoever knew him in their hearts and prayers. I hardly knew him personally but As teammates we all stick together and well I will always remember him as a true WARRIOR, and he is now by our Lord's side in good hands. We shall miss you Tony, but we know you will be in our hearts any place any time.

    Tony Marciniec Hammond Tony Marciniec, 19, of Hammond, IN, passed away Friday, October 15, 2004. He is survived by his parents: Michael and Sandy Marciniec; two brothers: Michael A. (fiancee Kate Palma) Marciniec and Christopher Marciniec; paternal grandmother: Madge Marciniec; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 21, 2004, 9:30 a.m. at the Anthony & Dziadowicz Funeral Home, 9445 Calumet Ave. (at 45th St.), Munster, 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. John Bosco Church with Rev. Richard Orlinski and Rev. Stanley Dominik concelebrating. Burial, St. John-St. Joseph Cemetery, Hammond. Visitation Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. Wake service Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Tony was a freshman at Vincennes University majoring in Fire Science and Safety Technology. He received his EMT certification at the Carmel, Indiana, Fire Department. Tony was a graduate of St. John Bosco School and Bishop Noll Institute, class of 2004, and he was a former member of the BNI Varsity Football Team.
